Author Bio

Bethany James grew up in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado in a family of six. She was born in Clearwater Florida. When she grew up, she found a connection to the world through reciting poetry, extracurricular activities, in her school and her community. Doing all of these activities gave her the opportunity to meet a lot of people. Even though she was connected with many people she felt that she did not fit in with them. She learned from her mistakes that she had to love herself if she wanted her creativity to flourish.

Here is a list of her future projects

Finished Manuscripts:

1. Biblical Spoken Word

Volume 2: SPIRITUALITY AND LOVE (Sequel to her self-introduction ebook
The Big Game original and extended versions)

This manuscript includes 7 original Biblical Spoken Word Poems. It is completely Christian
Fiction. My self-introduction shows her diversity as a Writer/Poetess in a Mixed Bag Style
Poetry ebook. This focuses solely on her unique Writing Style. It will be made available in
anaudiobook and ebook. She hopes to do a short film and hard copies later on.

2. That Which I Would Not That I Do + Table Content

This finished manuscript just needs editing/illustration/audiobook creation. She plans to
morph it into an ebook and hard copies later on. It is her plan to make this a short film also.

3. Behind the Dreamer: Abernathy King's Right Hand Man - Poetic US HISTORY Presentation

This will be her official book trailer. It is a Promo of her Writing Style as it relates to Black
History. It pulls a rich heritage from the Civil Rights Movement, Peaceful Resistance, and her
culture. Ralph D. Abernathy co-founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.
They were directly responsible for a lot of grassroots movements and nonviolent resistance
in the Black community. It may be a short audiobook too.

Unfinished / Ongoing Manuscripts:

4. For The Beloved Rejected, Alone, and Suicidal + Table of content

This piece is registered with the Library of Congress. Also, her technical drawing for her
logo is also registered (My Master's Ministry). It is an ongoing memoir testimony.  She
wouldlike for it to be a film (animation or movie) when it is finished. She also plans an
audiobook, ebook, as well as hard copies later on in her life.

5. GOD Spews Creativity- He is the Creator

She says that this is her Greatest Piece to date! It was finished, but, the final copy was lost.
She plans to have this available in every format after it is finished.

Author Interview Questions and Answers

Why are you writing this book?

The inspiration actually came from reading James Patterson’s Kiss The Girls as well as J.D. Robb. I’ve never wrote a mystery book, and simply wanted to give it a try. I loved the concept of Kiss The Girls and wanted to follow something similar but with my own style.

What Do You Hope To Accomplish?

I not only to be successful in writing but also share in doing something that I love in the process with others as well. I want to do something I can be proud of and make my son proud of as well.

Who Do You Want To Reach?

I want to reach as many people as possible. I want my writing, no matter what it is including this series, to touch and inspire others rather they are writers, artists, musicians. Etc…to do what they love and be successful in it no matter the age, difficulty, handicap, etc… As artists, we all need to simply inspire and support one another.

Who is your Target Audience?

I wish to target different audiences in hope not only that they love my work, but become inspired.

June Featured Author

Linda Strader

Originally from Syracuse, New York, Ms. Strader moved to Prescott, Arizona with her family in 1972. In 1976, she became one of the first women on a U.S. Forest Service fire crew in the Santa Rita Mountains south of Tucson.

Summers of Fire: A Memoir of Adventure, Love and Courage is her first book, released on May 1st, 2018 by Bedazzled Ink Publishing. She is currently working on a prequel.

In addition to writing, Ms. Strader is a landscape architect, certified arborist, and watercolor artist. She currently lives in the same area where her Forest Service career began.

About the book:

Linda Strader became one of the first women hired on a fire crew with the U.S. Forest Service. A naïve twenty-year-old in the mid 1970s, she had no idea that she was entering a strictly man’s world, and would soon discover she’d face many more challenges than “just” fighting wildfires. Told with honest emotion and authentic dialog, Summers of Fire is an adventure story beyond battling fires and discrimination. It is a vibrant story of love, strong friendships, and heartbreak, over her seven years pursuing the exciting, although sometimes exhausting, soul-fulfilling job she loved.

New Author Alert

Upcoming Author Troy Michalski

Name: Troy Michalski(pen name T. F. Chowski)
Age: 23

When I started writing: I became a story writer last February, but I’ve written lyrics since I was a young child.

Why I chose to write fantasy/adventure: I grew up spending countless hours playing video games and watching Harry Potter movies so the day I chose to write a book it was an easy decision to choose the fantasy genre.

Fun fact: I was born with transposition of the great arteries, meaning my heart and veins were tangled backwards at birth, which caused me to have two open heart surgeries. Of which, I died on the table of the second surgery.

Title of book: Realms of Aura: Rise of the Infected

Storyline

Zaleon is a twenty-five-year-old prodigy next in line to join the council controlling the six realms. Each realm powered by a different magic called an aura. The six realms are a peaceful society with a dark tradition. Multiaurables, people that could utilize the auras of more than one realm, are hunted down in fear they have too much power to be allowed to live. Zaleon discovers he is a multiaurable in a secluded location but is quickly thrown into a life of lying and running in an attempt to hide his ability. On his journey, he meets three other multiaurables, Bjorn, Maya, and Juju.

While running from the fearsome Hunters' Heads, and their equally deadly comrades the Hunters, they are forced to travel in the Doomlands of the realms. Along their travels, they face the mighty Beasts of Ruin, eight powerful beasts that used to be the alpha-beings of the realms long ago.

As the biggest festival of the year approaches, a danger grows deep in the Doomlands of the Tundra of Trudendale. The Hunters fall under attack more and more often forcing them to expand their numbers, thus creating more threats to Zaleon and the other multiaurables. As some of the Beasts of Ruin begin displaying the abilities of some of the different auras' magic they pin the six realms against the wall forcing them to call upon the assistance of the four multiaurables to help them stop the rise of the infected beast and the man who seems to be controlling them.
Six realms

The six realms are each powered by a different aura although all six auras are present in each realm in various amounts. The realms are Cloud Temple(Teal aura), Tundra of Trudendale(Navy aura), Caverns of Crossfire(Scarlet aura), Hollows of Shadowsfall(Violet aura), Canals of Silohan(Emerald aura), and Shores of the Storms(Nyanza aura).

Side note: This is the first book in a three, possibly more, part series. The second is in the beginning stages of outlining. It has also undergone editing before the query process. This is his first novel

This weeks Book review

From Faith to Faith: A Daily Guide to Victory - By: Kenneth Copeland
I enjoy reading devotionals because they give you a reading plan and they usually have a table of contents where you can look for topics that you need or want to know about.

The Authors description:
Enjoy a faith-filled message of encouragement every day of the year! Addressing the daily struggles you face---including weariness, irritation, children, finances, overeating, worry, and more---the Copelands show you that by applying the Word of God you can make changes for victory in every area of your life. Includes a Bible reading plan and topical index. 384 pages, softcover from Harrison House.
My thoughts:
Although this book has a devotional reading for each day of the month, this book has a topical index which has topics of inspiration, with the days you would find the topics in the devotional. In the beginning of the book there is a prayer of protection from Psalms 91.
The daily devotions in the book are scripture based, interesting and they will lead you to a closer walk with God. I enjoy reading this book because it is faith base and it will build your faith in God.
At the end of the book it gives another index with the months of the year, with every scripture referenced in the book. There is also a prayer for salvation and the baptism of the Holy Spirit which will help an individual to get a closer walk with God.
